Paris and Taylor are both gifted, but they will be voted off over the next two weeks, in that order, followed by Katharine. Last week I thought Katharine was a front-runner to win 'Idol.' I've changed my mind. Her gorgeous voice, great hair and distracting cleavage cannot help her, only because there are two other contestants who are better than she is.
It's pretty clear that Chris is going to make it to the final two. His fan base is HUGE and although I don't care for his genre of music, he is very talented and charming in a sort of rough, straight guy way -- the way that stimulates every gay man and straight woman's salivary glands.
Which leaves Elliot as the other finalist. That's right, America! I predict that the final two contestants will be Elliot and Chris, who will face off in a heart-pounding man-on-man musical duel.
Have you noticed how much better looking Elliot has gotten? Somebody is queer-eye'n him but good. This week he even zhooshed his hair, raising his cute factor several notches. He totally nailed 'A Song for You' with that unassuming, velvety voice. He could win. He's solid. He's an underdog. He made Paula cry.
Actually, the Paula thing means nothing. She's so sensitive at the moment, I think she must feel air molecules colliding with her skin. Someone needs to adjust her medication or replace her with an animatronic robot like the ones at Disneyland before she implodes on live TV.
Which brings me to the Top Three Gayest Moments of 'American Idol' this week:
2) Ryan's Sharp Claws: I don't know if you caught it, but Ryan thought he was a judge for a minute and verbally bitch-slapped Katharine after her number: "For those who don't have the volume turned on, you're going to get plenty of votes." Meow. Katharine was not amused.
3) Ryan and Elliot's Matching Outfits: Standing side by side in dark suits with matching baby blue silk ties (Ryan went skinny while Elliot chose wide), they so looked like they were on their way to their own commitment ceremony. Cute couple!
So ... You're with me that it's going to be Chris and Elliot in the final two, right? Right.

You don't have a clue what good talent is. Sure Kellie botched "Unchained Melody",but she is a talent that will be heard from and shouldn't have been booted for one bad choice. The only reason Chris is still there is he's been the judges favorite from the beginning and it's influenced the fans. Elliot is great and so is Taylor. Katherine is so much better than Chris. Paris is cute and has a great future,but she will be next to go ,then we wil finally get rid of Chris the next week. The final two will be Katherine and Taylor with Taylor winning. I don't know what this has to do with gays though.
I think that Chris will win...I believe he has what it takes to be this years american idol... Elliot is a feel bad for him... He struggles to sing and some reason always pulls it off... I really do believe we do not need another clay aiken he was better than Ruben and he came in second but still pulled more money than ruben.. So we will see....
I think that it was time for Kellie to go home. She can sing, but she just wasn't the strongest singer. I love Taylor, but I dont think that he will make it into the final two. Next week, Paris will most likely go home. I think that the final two will come down to Katherine and Chris. I don't know which one will win, but I hope Chris. I love his music choices and the way that he sings them. Look at last year's Idol, everyone thought that Bo was going to take it, and look Carrie did. Carrie was won CMA's and her album sold several.

No way. You've got it SORT OF right. Chris will be in the final two, but alongside Katherine, NOT Elliot. Katherine's voice and sex appeal overshadow those qualities of Elliot. Elliot is not "Idol" material, Katherine is, and she will go so far in her career, whether or not she is named Idol.

I would be absolutely thrilled if Elliot wins over Chris. You're so right about Elliot's cuteness factor. When he first showed up, I didn't think much of him at all; now, he is actually kind of HOT! Chris is fine, but I also don't like his style of music and he seems too sure of himself, almost like he believes everything everyone is saying about how great he is, but he's trying NOT to act cocky so people will continue to vote for him. Elliot simply seems more genuine and sincere. He has my vote!

Buddy, you got NO clue what you're talking about. Sure, I agree with Chris all the way...I have from the beginning. But there is no way that Elliott is going to make it to the top 2. Sure, he's good, but not American Idol good. He needs to get voted off really soon. If he doesn't, I'm sure hell will freeze over. As for Taylor, he's never been in the bottom 2 or the bottom 3 for that matter. I think too many people love him for him to get voted off any time soon. But, personally, I hope Paris gets voted off before any of them.

Ok first of all there is no way it would be between Chris and Elliot because Elliot has been in the bottom 3 so many times. I mean don't get me wrong, Elliot has a great voice but for me he just doesn't seem like he has that "Superstar" material. Real Superstars are people like Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken, people who's albums actually went somewhere. Breakaway and Measure of a Man both made it to triple platnum. Do you really think that Elliot could make an album that good? Personally I don't think any of the Idols this year could make an album that good. If I had to predict who would be in the finally it would probably be Chris and Kathrine because everyone knows that they have great voices. It was even said this week that they got the top two most votes this week. If it does end up being between them I really wouldn't care who wins. I would perfer Chris to win because he is the only one I could see making an album and it going somewhere, but if Kathrine won I wouldn't freak out about it because she is great too. And I do believe that they are the only two who really have that "Superstar" material. I also don't think that you should be dissing Kellie that way because she is a good singer and I thought that she did a really good job hitting that note in the middle of the song. It was no where as good as the time Clay Aiken sang it in season 2, but it was still a very good try and she didn't butcher it, marinade it and then put it on a grill (or whatever you said).

I am 100 % excited that Kellie got voted off. I liked her in the beginning, and her country style, but she should have been gone when they sang Queen three weeks ago. Since then, she has butchered every single song she has sung, and it was more than her time to go. Especially last week when Chris got the second lowest number of votes while Kellie wasn't even in the bottom three! She was horrendous and received her much-needed reality check this week! woot woot! But I love Elliot and think he's great at singing, but he isn't pop star material. Therefore, it will be Katharine and Chris in the end, and Chris will most definitely win it...he's the MAN!
I think Katharine is awesome. I think she has everything to be an American Idol. I thought Kellie would win at first because of her family problem. I think she is well on her way now. Taylor is the only idol that was never voted in the bottom and he is the BEST performer American Idol has ever seen in all 5 seasons. Taylor is unique, soulful, playful and VERY entertaining. I smile throughout every performance and fell in love with him instantly. I love Elliot. He is by far the best male vocalist idol has ever seen, but as a package...Taylor has him beat. Kelly was voted off, but she'll still go places, because someone from the country music industry will pick her up. She is country music all the way. Sure, she messed up "Unchained Melody." But that song is a hard one to do and she had no business attempting that song! That song was a poor choice for her and way out of her league. I've watched American Idol since it first aired, and I think Simon is a big JERK!!! He's got a lot of nerve telling people how bad they sound when they sing, when HE probably can't sing a note himself! I have a son os my own who is persuing a country music singing career, and there's NO WAY I'd ever support him trying out for American Idol, because later on, in the middle of the competition, Simon would say something to my son to tick me off, and I'd have to embarrass him in front of millions of thousands of fans! And look at the facts, the contestants were paired in groups, the top 2 which contained Kat and Chris, the middle which had Elliott and Taylor, and the bottom, which was Paris and Kellie.

Sorry the final 2 will be Chris and Taylor. And what, Katherine is not talented enough to win? She was in the top 2 with Chris. The only one that has yet to be in the bottom is Taylor. The next one to go will either be Paris or Elliot. One this week and the other the following. That will leave Chris, Katherine and Taylor. Its a close call between Katherine and Taylor, but seeing as how Taylor has yet to be in the bottom it will probably be him and Chris in the final 2.

I THINK THAT THE FINAL TWO WILL BE CHRIS AND KATHERINE!! i think chris will be #1 and katherine will be #2 they are both really good its gonna be tough. I dont kno bout Paris and Elliot they are both really good but they wont make it as far as chris and kat. Okay first off I totally agree with your assessment. All of you idiots saying that Elliot cannot sing need to get your ears checked. He has a GREAT VOICE. elliot definitly has grown on me overtime, and that's the biggest difference between chris and elliot is that elliot has room to grow while chris stays the same. they're both handsom and talented guys, but as my housemates used to say "i cant believe that big eared green tooth guy ended up being so good!" elliot is raking in the new fans each week, chris is just sorta starting high and staying the same... i do kind of hope elliot will win too, i love taylor for his crazyness, and katherine is good but bores the hell out of me.

I think you've got an accurate assessment. Elliot is not only an great singer and growing every week, we have to remember he is 90% deaf in one ear. He's GOT to be GIFTED to be able to sing so right on key every time. The whole gang is excellent this season in one way or another and even though Chris' style isn't my cup of tea, i do think he'll come in as 2nd runner up.
i mostly agree with you talentwise, elliot has an amazing voice, i think the best out of all. but he isn't really at the same performer level as katherine and chris, and even though simon insists that "this is a SINGING competition" it will boil down not to be and people vote on the personality and looks they like. even though he's a great singer i don't think he has the right personality and enough of a fan base to win
I think that you're 1/2 right. Chris will definitely make it to the top 2, but his final competition will, without a doubt, be Katharine. The 2 most talented and energetic people in the competition, Chris and Katharine, have worked hard and deserve the top 2 spots.

I agree with the top 2. But Chris will win if Elliot can't show more of his personality. He needs to perform more. Katharine is in the same boat. She doesn't really perform anything. But if she keeps performing these songs by legendary divas and not meeting the expectations she's not going to get intot he final 2. Talentwise Elliot should win the entire competition. I think almost all of what you said in this article was crap and believe me---Elliot will NOT be winning this competition. The only...THE ONLY person he brings to tears in a good way is Paula. It makes me cry that he is still there. Ryan would never intentionally cut any contestant down so we know he didn;t mean that the way it came out to Katharine. And come on...Paris should have left before Kellie. The only thing I agree with is that Chris will be in the final two---but not with Elliot. It will be woth Katharine...Taylor, however, will make it to the top three.
Okay, I'm not all that sure that Elliot will win. I think that it will be flip flopped and the winner will be Chris. Every week, he seems to be raising the bar...but then again, so does Elliot. But who am I kidding? When it gets down to it...the next American Idol will be Chris Daughtry. Elliot just doesn't have the right personality. For me, that is. I know now that I was crazy to think that Kellie Pickler was going to win it all. She stayed at the same level each week. She never EVER improved. Elliot has and Chris has. Dude, that's sick! There won't be a man-on-man musical duel! It'll probably end up being a woman-on-woman musical duel! Paris and Katherine are truly the more innovative contestants on the show, with Katherine's sassy showtunes mezzo soprano voice and with Paris' Billie Holiday-esque alto voice. Not even Fantasia has anything on this one. I highly doubt that Paris'll go home anytime soon. She'll at least end up in the top 3. In the end, I really don't think that it matters because all of the final 5 contestants have amazing voices.

I think you are wrong... Paris and Taylor will go the next two rounds, but then Elliot will be next. Paris is far too young to win, and can you see Taylor as American Idol? i sure can't. Chris and Katherine will be fighting for the top spot, and Chris will surely win. Elliot doesn't have enough talent, and i doubt he will make the top two. Katherine has potential, but she doesn't have much talent that will last her through the end. Chris is stepping it up, and his fans won't let him down.

As I read the comments before posting mine, I was disgusted to see America for what it really is, a bunch of shallow losers. Who cares what Elliot or anyone looks like. He has a really good voice. This has been one of the most diverse groups American idol has seen for a while, and it is very much needed. It's a singing competition people, not Americas next top model!

Chris, while receiving a lot of support because of his rock style that normally does not work on American Idol... has a tendency to sound like a goat at times while singing, and I think that he should just stick to his band and make music through there.
I also am not sure what will happen with Taylor, since he has never been in the bottom two and I think that his craziness and grey hair have landed him a lot of unexpected support.

FYI--- On your top 3 gayest moments... When Ryan brought out the claws.... He commented on that publicly, saying everyone took it wrong. Apparently, up on stage, under those bright lights, her dress was nearly see-through! We couldn't see that at home, but Ryan didn't know that and the comment was "I think you're going to get some votes even if the volume was turned down," or something to that effect. that's what I have heard anyway.

I can't make up my mind about any of them. One week I like Kat, the next I don't. One day I kind-sorta-almost tolerate Paris, then I don't. She has talent yes, but she's already performing and bopping her head around like she's a diva...highly annoying...and stupid looking. Kat is gorgeous and her voice is pretty, but I don't think she has what it takes to make it all the way. Chris is cute and charming and a bad boy, so he already has a big part of the vote. But he's rocker cliche' to a fault. Sex appeal should not win a singing contest alone. Elliot is endearing in the nerdy sense. And Taylor? I like Taylor's voice if I don't look at the screen while he's singing. Perhaps he's make a good singer on an animated cartooon? I thought Kelly was sweet and high past her time to leave. I guess I'm just biased because there will never be another Kelly Clarkson. :)
All I know is Paris even though she may have a great voice singing it feels like I am driving a nail into temple just hearing her talk outside of singing and she is way to upbeat with the personality too much smiling not real enough to me....... Elliot is a good singer and has been polishing up lately, but I find I am talking to people during his performance as if to say I can easily be pulled away from his performance by just simple casual conversation. So in the end I am definetly a Chris Daughtry Fan the dude has it and can always blow me away with his performances and has me cover the mouths of everyone around it so I can hear it. As for the rest of the crew, Taylor and Katharine, Taylor everyone loved cause of his character and unique performances but we're getting tired of the goofball and his talent as far as singing doesn't rich quite reach American Idol and Katharine has a great voice and cleavage and every guy loves that, but her songs don't cut it anymore.
I love, love, LOVE Elliot, his voice, his sensitivity, all of it, but I don't think he's gonna win it. I would love it as such, but I just don't think America will do it. This would be my ideal top 2 but I don't know if Elliot is realistically gonna make it. Paris & Taylor will go next, in any order, unless one of them does something absolutely amazing this week (which is doubtful; they both have kinda fallen off). Just look at Mandisa: everyone thought she was amazing, but her top that didn't flatter her voluptious figure landed her off the show. But anyways, Elliott is consistent every week. He delivers a great performance every single week and makes it his own, regardless of the genre. People were predicting that he would go soon, but I really disbelieve that now. It will all depend on how they all do this week with the billboard songs: it's gonna be tough! Sure Chris makes the songs his own too, but sometimes they're just not enjoyable. He is also great though, and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see them in the final two because they would both deserve to win. wow. i'm amazed at all the "elliott sux" people who have posted comments. have you checked your hearing lately? are you perhaps tone-deaf? his voice is amazing in every sense of the word. that boy can pull runs like no one else. and personality-wise?--he's absolutely the most humble and supportive of his fellow contestants. (just watch him on elimination nights.) all you elliott dissers out there have NO idea how gargantuan his fan-base is getting, so watch out. this is not to say that the other contestants are bad--they're all great! best top 5 ever. but if you have any ounce of musicality in you, you can't claim that elliott is bad either.

Are you psychic now? I have cried on some of Elliott's best performances. The only time I cry with Chris is when he does those goat noises or glares into the camera while singing love songs.
I think Elliott is an amazing talent and I don't know why the Chris fans have to put him down. I used to like Chris before the Chris fans started to go on and on about how awful Elliott was, like they're threatened by him.
