Somebody got to Isaiah Washington; here's his apology. Do you buy
it?

or circumstance. I marred what should have been a perfect night for everyone who
works on 'Grey's Anatomy.' I can neither defend nor explain my behavior. I can
also no longer deny to myself that there are issues I obviously need to examine
within my own soul, and I've asked for help." (Access

And one other thing: Singer John Mayer (who knew he cared?) has the
same idea as suggested in my post yesterday, which is that Washington, if not
fired, should walk in a gay man's shoes by having his character go
gay on 'Grey's Anatomy.'
Mayer tops me though (shiver), by setting up a script idea for Burke which you
can read on Mayer's blog
today.

never hear of john mayer before this, and, its a surprise that this man, iw's homophobic rant is all over the world. that said, with all the calls for his head and having to meet with the folks at glaad for "counseling", and the folks at glaad could use some on diversity as well, as their record is as bad as gop on certain issues of tolerance. the one thing forgot is iw's heart. this will not change the hatred in his heart, its being forced on him, and will only make his heart colder and most likely more of a nasty homophobe.
JOHN MAYER ROCKS! If you're not familar with his music, you should do yourself a favor and check him out. he plays guitar even better than he sings, which is pretty damn good.
we are not too sensitive are we? he calls a spade a spade and the whole of hollywood acts like isaiah is a demon. he apoligized and that should end it but noooooooooo not the media..they want the whole country to go into an uproar over this dude in a closet. too bad because the unnatural things people do to one another grab the most attention.
Grey's Anatomy already has done gay. It was sufficient for a season. Had something to do with an "outspoken" patient who had no boundaries when speaking his mind. So, I think that indicates that they know of what you are speaking.
Besides, Ms Shonda Rhimes would have to be crazy to lose her numero uno top gun "minority" actor (since when is gay humanity in the minority, by the way?) of the male sex: otherwise known as Black heterosexual male. We realize as well that she has a spare, somewhat more senior but he's spoken of retirement. And then she has an even more outspoken African-American female but no one has asked Bally,"What is your sexual preference?". And did T.R. say anything about planning to leave the show? The character he plays is vastly more inhibited about speaking out; that is, until he does by just blurting his real feelings to one character or another.
I think these people all have a lot in common and should hang tight.
they should fire the gay artist not washington , he only told the truth about the fag so what , all gays should be send to mars.
Apologies won't cut it..... He has issues with Gay people obviously. He probably regrets the remarks at the Golden Globe Awards because it has hurt his popularity, but i don't believe he regrets the original statements made on set or he would not have made that horrible blunder on national TV. He should have left it alone and made a personal apology off screen. I figure if he is homophobic enough to utter the word "******", to a fellow human being, he is only giving an apology to redeem himself and it is not genuine.
