New 'Project Runway' Scandal: Sew Juicy

Hold onto your hat pins: Another contestant may have broken the rules of the 'Runway.'

A report out details a potential scandal involving dresses sewn by Jeffrey Sebelia, or, rather, dresses not sewn by Jeffrey Sebelia.

Bad-ass-mommy Laura Bennett (love her!) called foul on tattoo-guy Jeffrey, claiming there's no way the dresses he brought to Bryant Park were solely his doing.

Laura was tipped off by uncharacteristic craftsmanship in Jeffrey's work, and -- get this -- stuff that his mom told Laura's mom (they are buddies now), which, guess what, trickled back to Laura herself.

No word yet on when or how exactly this alleged seamstress-outsourcing violation will play out on the show:

"We took the accusation very seriously, and we did a very intense and thorough investigation," [Tim] Gunn told New York Magazine, declining to reveal the verdict of the so-called scandal and thus potentially spoil the season-ender.

"His collection was very ambitious," he added. "I wasn't born yesterday."

We lost Keith earlier this season because he cheated. Is Jeffrey next?

These scandals are making 'Runway' into something so, oh, I don't know, congressional.

Couple of 'Runway' Notes:

1) Tonight is a reunion show. Let the laughs, tears and backstabbing begin.

2) I want to give a shout-out to my best new boyfriends at 'Project Rungay,' and recommend you check them out.

These guys selflessly dedicate their lives to "all 'Runway,' all the time," and do so with wit and style and just a pinch of bitchiness. Tom & Lorenzo, I heart you!

3) Finally, I'm sorry, but gorgeous models who can't walk in the shoes they are given and fall on their ass-ets are just funny, this video from the Vivienne Westwood show in Paris being a prime example. Hold it together, honey!

Gayestever, thank you SO much for all your insights on the deepest of the deep--Project Runway--this year. It's so nice to be transported to glamour, at least twice per week--once, via Runway; and the second time, in your column.  And, most recently, thanks for pointing to the Project Rungay boyz.  Those boyz are hilarious!

Don't miss their comments on Nina's office. I especially like this:
"We have burning real estate envy when we look at Nina's office. We especially love the fact that she apparently doesn't feel the need to provide seating for anyone other than herself. She made a pregnant woman sit on an air conditioner. That's a level of fabulous bitchery of which we can only sit in awe."
and
"Mrowr, Chica! Hot! We're as gay as pink Christmas trees, but who wouldn't want a bitchy Latin woman in kickass shoes to make you sit on the windowsill in her fabulous office, bark orders at you, and kick you out? Where do we send our resumés?"

Project Rungay boys, you rule! (Well--you rule when so delegated by gayesteditorever, of course.)

OMIGOD!OMIGOD!OMIGOD!OMIGOD!

HE CAN'T POSSIBLY BE THAT STUPID, CAN HE?  I KNOW THAT HE'S NOT GOING TO BE DISQUALIFIED BECAUSE IT'S VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO PROVE THESE ALLEGATIONS ARE TRUE UNLESS THE PERSON(S) WHO HELPED HIM SEW COMES FORWARD AND ADMITS IT.  I KNOW THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN, BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY PAY TO SEE IT IF IT DID!

WHERE'S YOUR BLOG ON THE REUNION EPISODE??  I GOT SOME THANGS TO SAY ABOUT THAT!

PEACE OUT...LONG LIVE M.K.!!!
